2025 Knox County Republican Party Reorganization Convention

When: March 29, 2025, registration opens at 9:00 a.m., Convention starts at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Rothchild’s, 8807 Kingston Pike. Anyone wanting to provide food or drinks for the Convention will need to order them through Rothchild’s.

What you need to know:

• • Pre-register on the Tennessee Republican Party (TRP) website at tngop.org. Participants are encouraged to register at least five (5) days before the Convention to ensure participation. The earlier you register, the earlier we can solve any problems that may arise.
  • Anyone failing to pre-register who is determined not to be qualified will not be allowed to participate in the Reorganization Convention.
  • A qualified (bona fide) participant is an individual who is properly registered to vote in Knox County and has voted in at least three (3) of the last four (4) Statewide Republican primary elections in which they are eligible to vote. The burden of proof that the individual meets these qualifications is on the prospective participant. (See TRP Bylaws, Rule E, Section 5).
  • Any bona fide Republicans interested in running for Knox County Party Chairman must submit their names and contact information to the Contest and Credentials Committee (John Marshall, [email protected]) at least seven (7) calendar days before the Convention.
  • Qualifications to run for Knox County Party offices can be found in TRP Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 5.
  • Check the Knox County TN Republican Party facebook page for Contest and Credentials Committee meeting dates.
